The Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum, NSW was designed by New South Wales Public Works Department. It received the RAIA NSW Blacket Award in 1991 for excellence in a residential or public building in the country or Newcastle regions and the 1993 CSR Bradford Energy Conquest Design Award for excellence in energy efficiency. This case study provides a detailed evaluation of the building in terms of ecologically sustainable design.
